이 공간은 1948년 이후부터 현재까지 법원의 역사를 살펴볼 수 있는 [법원역사실]입니다.

가장 먼저 여러분을 맞이하는 대형 사법부 연표는 1940년대부터 현재까지 사법부 역사를 한 눈에 볼 수 있도록 시대별 주제별로 내용을 분류해 놓았습니다. 

연도별로 재임했던 대법원장과 대법관을 찾아보고 당시 추진했던 법원의 정책과 재판이 발전해 온 역사를 살펴보며 사법부의 역사를 짚어보세요. 

공간 왼편의 대형 진열장에는 김홍섭, 김종순, 이일규, 유현석 판사의 유품이 진열되어 있어 대한민국 사법부의 과거를 엿볼 수 있습니다.

변호사 시험 합격증서, 판사 임명서, 법복의 변천과정 등 사법행정사료를 통해 대한민국 법원의 발자취를 느껴보시기 바랍니다. 

오른편의 진열장에는 법원에서 간행했던 판례집과 시대를 대표하는 재판의 판결문이 전시되어 있습니다. 건국 이후 줄곧 사용했던 국한문 혼용 세로쓰기 판결서를 국민이 읽기 쉽도록 개선한 한글전용 가로쓰기 판결문을 비롯해, 

과거 유신시절, 국민의 재산권을 보장하고자 했던 국가배상법 위헌 결정문, 그리고 박정희 대통령 시해사건 판결문 등 대한민국 사법 역사 속에서 주목 받았던 판결을 살펴볼 수 있습니다. 

⑧ The Chronology of the Korean Judiciary

Judiciary Historical Administrative Data

This is the Court History Room, where you can see the history of Korean judiciary system since the foundation of the country in 1948 to present.

The first thing you may have noticed in this room, the big chronological chart of Korean Judiciary system is structured in themes and times so that you may see the history of Korean judiciary system since 1940s at a glance.

Try to find out the names of the chief justices and judges of the supreme courts by the year and learn about the polices and progresses we made at that time, as a history of the Judiciary. 

In the closet on the left side of the room, the remnants of famous judges, Justice Hongeop Kim, Jongsoon Kim, Ilgyu Lee, and Hyunseok Yoo are displayed,

which give you a chance to take a glimpse at the history of the Judiciary.

The Legal Administrative Data includes the Bar Exam Qualification Certification, the Appointment Order of a Justice, and the changes in the judges' robes,

which will help you learn and appreciate the history of the Korean Courts.

In the closet on the right site, there are case books and famous ruling documents representative of each era. 

The ruling documents, which was at first in Korean and Chinese Characters, were written in vertical directions,

which later changed into readily understandable, all-Korean texts written horizontally.

The ruling documents for the case of National Compensation Law under the tyranny of Yooshin Era, which ruled the law against the constitution in order to protect the properties of the people

as well as the ruling document for the assassination of former president and military dictator, Jeonghee Park, 

and many other famous ruling documents history of Korean Judiciary can be found.
